Do not fret Mich fans. There is no reason the team cannot run the table in the Big 10. Who is the competition? No one. The conference is a joke this year, but hey it will be an easy championship banner to earn.

This is great. _ichigan is exposed as the absolutely mediocre team that it is. Robinson is out of the Heisman race (thank goodness we don;t have to listen to that the rest of the year). Hoke is a joke. Ohio State will crush _ichigan. Bama, then ND ... _ichigan will be lucky to go 7-5. Haha.

The Unexpected Debacle. A big disappointment after the last three games vs N.D. This is a blow to the Borges Strategy which attempts to mix "spread style" with "pro set style" by working on DRob's passing. Would guess that Borges may be forced to turn elsewhere for his all-around QB. We can't blame Denard: it's obvious he's been working on his passing abilities. But until last year, he had the athletic instincts of a running ball carrier - and I think he still does. It might be that assigning DeRob a running back role could force defenses to stuff the box on a more consistent basis, taking away opposing defense flexibility and giving them more vulnerability to a good passer. I doubt that any defense coordinator would dare to "ignore" Denard's presence on the Wolverines' running back corps. Especially since Michigan has more running back talent. Finally, look at what Wisconsin has done with an all-running back strategy: they are higher in rankings right now than Michigan and they won the B1G championship last year. But traditionally, Wisconsin has not recruited and used exceptional QB talent. That's not a limitation Michigan has to worry about - the Wolverines could draw on their strong QB recruiting to create a more balanced, less one-dimensional offense.

How exactly would putting Denard in at RB force defenses to put more people in the box than DIRECTLY SNAPPING THE BALL TO DENARD?

As a senior, Denard should be playing better in the road. That was my expectation going into this season. Denard looked as bad as he did as a freshman against Iowa on the road when he had to take over for a banged up Tate late in the game, and Denard threw a pick that ended a great drive. Maybe the loss can't be 100% Denard's fault, but it was at least 80%. The Michigan defense played much better that I thought. Credit the ND defense in rushing and hurrying Denard? No- it was our QB that made some aweful throws. Next game in two weeks on the road at Purdue. Let's hope Michigan gets a win, anyway they can.

Denard is the Tim Tebow of college football. Lots of heart, lots of talent, being seriously misapplied.

I just hope that Denard doesn't give away another win on Oct. 20th!

Brady Hoke will soon follow the path of RichRod. Let him know that San Diego State has an opening for a special teams coach.

Cheer up fans. A loss to ND is better than win against EMU.

Time to switch Denard to receiver. It's our only hope.

I know he has a great smile but Robinson is simply not a drop back passer. If Michigan continues to try and force a square peg into a round hole this is going to be a long season. I, for one, will be glad when Hoke will be able to play a throwing quarterback.

I guess this game officially ends the Heisman talk for Denard.

Iowa loses at home to CMU. MSU struggles at home against EMU. OSU has their hands full at home with UAB. The always dangerous UTEP scares Wisconsin at home. The flagship team of the Big 10, our beloved UM, humiliates themselves on national TV against ND. Let's face it folks, this is the weakest the Big 10 has ever been. No team is worthy of being in the top 25, and as of now, no team is BCS worthy.

All things seem to even out--- We have won games against ND that we should have lost and this year we lost a game we should have won.

It may not mean a thing to anyones bank accounts and Denard was smiling away all the way to the end of the game, but after that Alabama loss in Texas and this showing on national tv, they should be ashamed of themselves. How embarrassing. I wouldn't rank this team in the top fifty.

I'm a Spartan but I'm from Michigan. If my team can't do it, the guys down the road can make it good. When that fails, I get ticked! Looks like we can't hang on to the ball and M doesn't have a chance to. Luck to both in the season.
