With revamped roster and coaching staff, Ron English thinks EMU football is moving in a positive direction
By AnnArbor.com Staff
There's been plenty of changes with the Eastern Michigan football program after an 0-12 season in 2009.
In fact, as MAC-Sports.com puts it in its "13 Teams. 13 Days." preview package, "carnage ensued." Coach Ron English has six new coaches on his staff. He lost 39 players from last season's team -- and just 14 were seniors.
But after spring ball of 2010, English feels better about his staff, his roster and his chances of getting things moving in a positive direction.

This is not surprising. Once again A2.com fails to give the EMU folks legitimate coverage. This report from MAC-Sports.com was written sometime around April-June. It even includes two players that are no longer on the EMU team! Why can't A2.com cover EMU??? No subscription money from me.

@ Saginaw - I think those 25 players also include former walk-ons. I know of one that loved Coach English but went to SGVSU because of the opportunity to play and get some scholarship $$$.

He lost 39 players from last season's team -- and just 14 were seniors. Does this mean that 25 players just walked out?
