Sorry Orlando...I made a boo-boo in my last posting...I wrote that Carr left RR with 15 starters....it was actually 17 starters!!!!!!!!!! My bad.

Orlando---first, I am NOT a UM hater. I've been a supporter since I could say Maize and Blue and I am well past my 50's, so I feel very comfortable saying that I do love my Michigan football team. What I AM is a RR non-supporter! Having said that I am totally overjoyed with the NCAA ruling on the infractions that we ADMITTED that we did!! What that means is that the University can go after a REAL coach without major sanctions hanging over our head like Alabama did a few years ago. It took them 5 years to find a REAL coach, and look at them now. Second, I am sure there are a lot of REAL coaches who would have jumped all over coming to the UM "basebones" program with the 15 starters that were coming back!! The REAL coach would have used those 15 returning starters to continue the tradition as he worked on getting his recruits on board instead of gutting what was there and ending up like we are today. With some common sense decisions from the University officials, fire RR and GRob, we will both be able to enjoy the kind of Michigan football that we love.

you haters are funny, now the program can move on, you would think so anyhow, but its clear the hate for rr is fervent and those hoping for a bad outcome from this violation crap are fuming that nothing really came from it...i hate all this losing like everyone else, but i am not gonna hate a man who came into a bare bones program leftover from carr, but many of you are so blind you cant see that.. when changing a whole system this is what sometimes happen...but what ever, i love my michigan football team and am staying positive and am looking forward to this weekends game...gooo rr goooo blue.

The only good news that can come on this page, is to finally read that UM is going to try and go back to the days of class and tradition. Remember "Bo", try to duplicate something like that. When I read all this, I just think - What would Bo have done, I think most of you do not remember the good days. A new coaching staff is needed ASAP - and maybe the administration needs a face lift if they think what is going now is OK. And UM will never get Les or Jim Harbaugh until they clean up this mess - heartbreaking to see what has become of the great UM. Pathetic and if only people could vote, it would look like Tuesday!

This is both good news and bad news. Bad news that Michigan is on probation for 3 years. Good news that now the major infractions are official and Michigan can move on and let RichRod go without a buyout because of the major infractions. The only question left is whether it should be done before or after Temple beats Michigan in the pizza bowl. Michigan should look at coaches from TCU, Boise and Utah. I don't think Michigan has a chance getting Harbaugh or Miles from their respective schools. LSU and Stanford are both BCS top ten programs with top 5 recruiting classes coming in 2011. Utah's coach may not be an option since they will be in the PAC10/12 next year. After 3 years of RichRod Michigan is a big ten bottom feeder, maybe a top 60 program with a top 25 recruiting class in 2011, ouch. With RichRod they will never be relevent in the big ten. Even with a new coach, that knows how to run a defense, it maybe another 2 or 3 years before they are a top tier team in the big ten.

Those who stay will be...in violation.
