Magglio Ordonez snagged Derek Jeter's line drive in right field to end the New York Yankees rally and secure a 5-4 victory for the Detroit Tigers on Monday, MLive.com reports.

Detroit reliever Jose Valverde then struck out the side, including Mark Teixeira and Alex Rodriguez, in the ninth inning. The Tigers face the Yankees again tonight in a 7:05 game.
