Adam White, who started the day a stroke off the lead, shot 73 to finish second, three shots off the lead. White stuck with Slade until a double bogey on the 17th hole.

Both men are former Ann Arbor city champions who were vying to become the first player to own both a city and a county title. Slade, the '07 city champ, now holds that honor.

Six-time county champion Mike Igansiak, who has never lost at Pierce Lake, was not in this year's field due to a scheduling conflict.
