Michigan hockey overcomes slow start to top Bentley, 6-3
After falling behind early in the second period, Michigan scored four goals over the next 21 minutes to take a commanding lead en route to a 6-3 win over Bentley Friday night at Yost Ice Arena.

The win, in the Wolverines’ lone weekend game, moves Michigan to 2-1 on the season.
Captain A.J. Treais and sophomore forward Alex Guptill recorded two goals apiece to pace Michigan (2-1). Treais scored Michigan’s first two goals, both of which tied the game after a pair of early Bentley goals.
Guptill scored twice in the third period, along with Zach Hyman in a three-goal Michigan third period. Ann Arbor native and Skyline High School graduate Andrew Copp also scored for Michigan.
Freshman Steve Racine started in net for Michigan, recording 22 saves on 25 shotes.
Michigan will take on Miami next Friday at home.
