The Skyline High School football team gave Pioneer a run for its money this fall, and last season the basketball team even upset the Pioneers.

The boys hockey team still has a ways to go.

Pioneer defeated Skyline, 7-0, at Yost Ice Arena on Wednesday.

A rivalry that lived up to the billing a little more than the hockey game was a clash of the Manchester wrestling team and Addison, the No. 5 and and No. 9 Division 4 teams in the Division 4 MichiganGrappler.com rankings.

The meet ended in a 33-33 tie, with Addison winning on the second tiebreaker criteria: most matches won.

There was more said in your caption under the photo than in your story. The real story is "Although Skyline beat Huron 5-1, they have some growing and maturing to do". Might have been nice to mention the success this young team has had.

Well said yardy! I would like to second your comments and add what a pleasure it has been to watch the team since the beginning of the season. They have only had 2 major blowouts this season against VERY good teams. Way to go boys. Keep up the good work.
