The next AnnArbor.com Team of the Week will almost certainly be an SEC White softball team.

Which one, though, is yet to be determined.

As of noon Wednesday, halfway through this week’s voting period, Lincoln had a slim 30-vote lead over Dexter in our poll, with each garnering more than 200 votes of the 600 that have been cast.

Lincoln has put out a strong social media campaign, as it tries to replicate its voting success from the football season.

And while it has outpaced three of the four other team’s in this week’s poll, it so far it hasn’t been able to shake the Dreadnaughts.

Both teams are enjoying strong seasons, and the winner of this week’s poll will be the focus of our coverage. Voting will stay open through noon Friday, so get your vote in now.

Thanks to the residents of Splitter Nation and a strong boost by the Little League, it looks like the Lincoln girls are gonna take this one.

I wasn't able to find any Dexter social media accounts promoting the vote, but based on the amount of votes they've received I'm sure there's a get out the vote campaign going on. Good tactic getting little league involved

I'd just like to clarify the caption under the photo of the Dexter pitcher. That' sophomore Tasha Drinkard not Lauren DeHaan. Lincoln may be using social media but Dexter has social media and Dexter Little League on their side. That's well over 500 members. DLL has turned out most of the players on Dexter's team. I dare say that Dexter Softball will prevail!!!

Sorry about the caption mistake. That's my bad, I inserted the photo. Can't wait to see the results of the social media battle between the sides. Tweet, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Plus, Linked In, MySpace, Friendster, and Woof away!
