Gabriel Richard, Willow Run and Manchester represented on Division 5-6 All-State football team

Father Gabriel Richard High School senior Nick Pauze, Willow Run senior NyShaun Marks and Manchester junior Nate Bossory are honorable mention selections on the Associated Press Division 5-6 All-State high school football team released today.

Pauze (5-10, 190) was a selection at running back after rushing for 1,001 yards and 11 touchdowns on 137 carries in just eight regular season games as the Fighting Irish went 7-2 (with one forfeit). In Richard's two playoff games, Pauze had 16 carries for 64 yards and three touchdowns.

Marks (6-1, 200) was a selection as a specialist. He did a little bit of everything for the 4-5 Flyers, recording 74 tackles, rushing 80 times for 919 yards and three touchdowns and making 24 catches for 329 yards and three touchdowns. Marks, even played some quarterback, completing 8-of-13 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown.

Bossory was selected at quarterback. He completed 156-of-299 passes for 2.083 yards and 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions for the Flying Dutchmen (8-2).

Lansing Catholic quarterback Cooper Rush (6-4, 225) is the Division 5-6 AP Player of the Year. He leads the unbeaten and top-ranked Cougars into the Division 5 state football championship game against Flint Powers Catholic at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
