Monday, Sept. 10: The Rotary Club of Ann Arbor will hold its annual Golf and Tennis Outing at Travis Pointe Country Club. The day’s schedule includes 11 a.m. registration and lunch, noon shotgun start, 2 p.m. tennis, 5:30 p.m. social hour and silent auction and a 7 p.m. dinner and program featuring guest speaker Dave Brandon, the athletic director at the University of Michigan. A variety of sponsorship and participation packages are offered on the Rotary Club website.
Sunday, Sept. 30: The Eastern Michigan baseball team will host its annual golf outing on the Golden Fox Championship Course at the Fox Hills Golf Club in Plymouth. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The four-person scramble includes lunch served on the course and dinner inside the Fox Hills Club House. The cost is $400 per foursome. EMU alumni who graduated in 2008 or later are required to pay just $75 to participate. All other individual entrants pay $100. Donations are also welcome and tee sponsorships cost $100.
