It looks like the Big 12 might end up finding out its fate sooner than later.
And one columnist thinks the league should just disappear.
Berry Tramel of the Oklahoman says the Big 12 should just wither away because the league is so dysfunctional.
This is on the heels of the Omaha World-Herald report that Nebraska - a key to the Big 12 staying afloat - is ready to accept a Big Ten bid and that the announcement happen as soon as Friday.
Colorado, another Big 12 school possibly on the move, held a private meeting last night to assess the situation but Kyle Ringo of the Boulder Daily Camera reports no invitation has been extended from the Pac 10. Yet.
