Denard Robinson, talk of the college football country; James Madison's win over Virginia Tech a growing trend and more
By Kaleb Roedel

McCartney -- once again, like many -- has Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson as the front-runner.
"No other player has taken the nation by hold like the Michigan Magician," McCartney cleverly(?) states.
Ranked No. 2 behind Robinson is Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor.

Forget the Heisman talk it's time for game 3 and that is all. Many, many things can go either right or wrong but it's way to early to predict the Heisman. If the Heisman voting was tomorrow he could very well get it but right now we have to concentrate on the team as a whole. We need to concentrate on the whole team, we don't want to get carried away with just Robinson as Robinson will be the first to say this whole journey is about the whole team.

"Both Mallett and Pryor see college as training for the NFL." Gotta disagree with this. If DR plays this way a heisman for sure, not questioning that. I rank being in a more pro system and doing well than a one man team means more to me, but that's my opinion. I don't know if I'd say dropping back and then rushing it every other play is completely selfless, i don't think it's selfish either. Of course he probably wouldn't win the heisman becasue college voters have that stupid thing where they don't want the young kids to win it...which is mega lame.

Rich Rod should donate a portion of his massive pay to Denard's family for bailing him out and possibly, saving his gig. Doh...but that would be another NCAA violation wouldnt it?

Jay Jay, you're exactly right. I see him around campus and he always has a huge smile on his face. He makes people appreciate life and that is why he is such a good person. His skills would make most people's ego grow out of proportion but somehow he has kept it in check. This kid will grow into a great man; a MICHIGAN MAN.

Even though Mr. Robinson has been nothing short of incredible in his first two starts, I find it even more amazing how humble and contrite this young man is. While his play through two games has put his name in the talk of the Heisman, his demeanor puts him at No. 1 in the race for the "personality" Heisman. I hope he can keep it up. He is a deserving young man who commands respect. He is what "Michigan" is all about! Go Denard!
