Barry Stokes, 6 others to enter Eastern Michigan Athletics Hall of Fame
Barry Stokes, who played on the offensive line for Eastern Michigan from 1992-1995 and went on to an NFL career with the Detroit Lions and several other teams, is one of seven who will be inducted into the Eastern Michigan Athletics Hall of Fame in February.
Former track star Clement Chukwu, softball player Dawn (Godfrey) Heck, swimmer Laurie (Hubbard) Leonhardt, basketball player JoAnn (LeFevre) McBroom, baseball player John Martin and football player and track star Hildred Lewis will join Stokes as inductees on Feb. 11, 2011 at the EMU Student Center on campus.
