Jennie Dalton reports that she found a cat on Saturday, Feb. 13 just inside Oakland County in New Hudson at the intersection of Pontiac Trail and Martindale Road. The cat is now at the Humane Society of Huron Valley.

Dalton said the cat is is a neutered male, approx 4-5 years old. He's a domestic longhair, brown tiger/tabby with a white chin, weighs about nine pounds, is friendly and quite vocal.

"We thought he should be called Harley because his purr was loud like a motorcycle," Dalton wrote in an e-mail.
