This Beautiful Lady was my next door Neighbor for a few years. I am so sorry and in shock over this. She was a Wonderful Mother and worked so hard at everything that she did. I watched her do things that just amazed me. She is I am sure a Beautiful Angel right now. My Heart is so heavy as she has left three children. We love you Tracy and I know that you knew that.

Coming from the West Coast where the roads are less treacherous as here I can't believe how many people drive unsafe, tailgating, speeding, cell phone use when conditions require full attention during any inclement weather situations. It dosen't surprise me that they have as many accidents as the do. I drive from A2 to Detroit and their must be 3-4 accidents everytime I go, the majority are from speeding when road conditions are wet and slippery.

@JC-what indications from this article did you gleem that the vehicles were inadequate or any of the drivers were/are untrained? Did it EVER occur to you that the weather could had played a significant role in this accident? Gosh, your comments should be removed based on stupidity.

I find it interesting and sad how desensitized we are to deaths caused by traffic accidents. If this were a jay walker or a cyclist there would be 50 comments about the scenario causing the death and injustice to all parties involved. Do you accept that cars are coffins? Why do we allow inadequate vehicles and untrained drivers on the road? Why don't we take steps to make Michigan roads safer like we do with keeping second hand smoke out of bars?

I am praying for these people. May God comfort them in the loss of a loved one, and the other people involved in this accident.
