By Erica Hobbs

A 43-year-old woman is accused of robbing and carjacking a 75-year-old woman Friday in the Big Lots parking lot at 2299 Ellsworth Road in Ypsilanti Township.

Police say Kimbley Goree is accused of approaching the victim as she walked to her van, getting into in the vehicle and demanding the victim drive her to an ATM to withdraw cash.

Reports say Goree didn't harm the victim and fled from the Meijer store at 3825 Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township on foot.

Goree was later located at a bus stop in Ypsilanti, where she was arrested and taken to the Washtenaw County Jail. She will next appear in court June 9.
