DTE just called (24+ hours later, and by phone even though I specified text) to ask if my power was back on, and to say that the problem was a tree branch that took down some lines on Hogback yesterday morning.

This is exactly the same area as the last power outage not that long ago. What's up with that? Same time of day, too.

Thanks DTE for "saving the planet" by having these unannounced power outages. I like these "Wildcat" power outages as a way to protest "Global Warming"!

For the last 3 1/2 years Republicans have blocked, obstructed and said no to President Obama's initiatives to upgrade the nations power grid. This is the result of Utility Companies bribing Congress.

Hard to believe the ever-reliable DTE would let its customers down this way. Dew point must have reached double digits with mercury rising in scorpio, or something like that.
