The University of Michigan has acquired 29 properties in Ann Arbor throughout the past 13 years, according to school records.
Twenty-seven of the properties are within the downtown area and another is the 174-acre North Campus Research Complex, which U-M bought from Pfizer in 2009 for $108 million.

Strangely, the city asked the voters (dim as they are, they approved it) for millions to reward connected individuals by paying them to take their properties off the tax rolls, where these properties will sit, undeveloped.

The level of data presented here is disappointing. Doesn't the UM have a list of recently acquired properties that a reporter might be allowed to see? The link to "29 properties in Ann Arbor" takes us to the companion story. The other story has a link to "29 properties in Ann Arbor", which brings us back to this story.

This leaves off other areas not on central campus too -- they have also acquired: -The Entire Pfizer complex -The Entire acreage between S. Main and State for the Tennis/Gymnastics/Soccer complex -THe corner of S State and Eisenhower (Both -- for offices and their MedRehab program) -The plots scattered throughout the city's west side

the map is not clear, it only gives a general idea of location how about a list of addresses and lot sizes? that would give a much more accurate picture.
