Firefighters fought a blaze at an Augusta Township mobile home Monday afternoon with multiple fire departments responding after the fire threatened other homes.

Huron Valley Ambulance dispatchers confirmed firefighters were sent to the 500 block of Spanish Oak Lane at 12:33 p.m. Monday. HVA spokeswoman Joyce Williams said August Township firefighters were being assisted by Pittsfield Township, Ypsilanti Township and Milan firefighters.

Two Huron Valley Ambulance crews were also on scene. No one was injured as of 1:30 p.m., but Williams said the ambulance crews would stay to assist.

Williams said other mobile homes in the area were threatened by the blaze, but none had caught fire. She said the other departments were brought in to aid Augusta Township firefighters in order to keep the fire contained to the one mobile home.

The fire was out at 1:27 p.m., according to reports from the scene.
