Man charged in Ypsilanti Township home invasion remains jailed

A man who deputies say attempted to force his way into a bedroom at a Russell Street home in Ypsilanti Township Thursday remains jailed on more than $50,000 bond, jail officials said.

Kenneth Lebron Armour, 54, is charged with home invasion and driving with a suspended license, Washtenaw County jail officials said.

Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputies say Armour attempted to enter a bedroom occupied by children at a home in the street's 1300 block, a sheriff's office news release said.

Armour left the home, but was apprehended shortly after the 9:30 p.m. incident, the release said.

does anyone know if this person will have his dna sampled and compared to a database? hope it would be standard procedure with the charge of home invasion.
