Crash reported on US-23 north of Ann Arbor

A crash may slow traffic on southbound US-23 south of Eight Mile Road north of Ann Arbor this morning.

The 2-car crash occurred about 7:35 a.m., a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County sheriff's department said. State police were on their way to the crash just before 8 a.m., a dispatcher said.

No one was believed to have been injured in the crash and it was not blocking the roadway.

The Google traffic map shows a moderate slowdown on US-23 north of Ann Arbor.

Any word on what caused the intense backup yesterday evening on I-94 eastbound around 5:30pm? Things were backed up form at least State St to Michigan Ave, where I decided to get off and take the back roads home.
