Why is there nothing on the body they found in the parking lot of Signature Club Apartments, on Thanksgiving?? I wish someone could clear up all the rumors around the possible homicide in my parking lot!

I believe they are listing the "block number" as opposed to the actual address, correct? So if there were 3 at 1100 White in the same day, it could have been multiple apartments in the same complex or three houses on the same block. Also, thank you for the clarification on the Home Invasion definition.

You've listed a home invasion at the same address three times on the same day. What was the matter....didn't they get enough stuff on the first two invasions?

What is the difference between a burglary and a home invasion? Aren't both break-ins?

I've noticed a rise in the number of "home invasions". I was always told that a home invasion is when someone forces their way into your home while you are in you are still in it. It's also my understanding that home invasions are usually violent in nature. That being said, I find it hard to believe that there is such a High rate of these violent crimes in this city. and more likely these are cases of burglery in which an overzelous prosecuter is overcharging burglery suspects. On a side note, I as a jury member have voted 'not-guilty'in the past because I felt the prosecuter was violating the suspects rights, by charging them with a harsher crime that they obviously didn't commit. Could someone explain the definition of home invasion, and clarify the difference between that and burglery/B&E. My concern is that people who are commiting crimes against property are being treated with the same degree of harshness as people who commit Violent crimes coupled with crimes against property.

Really?

So City Council... you decided to cut our police force and look what happend. Now you're meeting Saturday to cut our Fire Department. Can't wait to see what happens then. Oh wait, didn't our great leader Fraser say that we wouldn't notice any change in service or protection. Ask those people who had their homes broken into, the assaults, the sexual assaults, or the people who own the cars that were broken into. Now let's cut the fire department. Looking forward to seeing the statistics after that great idea. Just hope I'm not one of those statistics.

Oh do you have this for other date ranges or neighboring cities?

I think this is a good idea but the map doesn't really add to the article because it doesn't name any major streets or highways making it difficult to good idea of location. Also I've confused about the map as it says it is for November 22-28 but was created on November 10. How can a crime map be created before the crime happens? Do you have a psychic working there?
