'American Pie' star Jason Biggs spotted at Zingerman's Deli

"He was here at around 7:30," said Charlotte Bruell, a Zingerman's supervisor who wasn't on duty Thursday night, but learned about the visit from her co-workers.
Biggs' Twitter feed offers photos taken in the Detroit area (including Metro Airport) while in town this week for advance "Reunion" screenings and promotion, and one focuses on Zingerman's neon sign, accompanied by the text, "Yes please."

The original "American Pie" (1999)—a raunchy, coming-of-age comedy—has local ties, in that screenwriter Adam Herz is a University of Michigan grad ('96), and the movie focuses on a group of Michigan high school students who are on the verge of parting ways to Ann Arbor and East Lansing (among other places) for college.
But Herz was denied the right to use the University of Michigan's name or logo in the films.
"American Reunion" opens in theaters April 6.

Yes, many films are given an advanced screening for a group called MFlicks at the U. (That is how this came about). People from the movie were in for a meet and greet, then a showing of the movie. If you are smart and walk around campus, you cna see many movies before general release FOR FREE on campus.

This is Ann Arbor, and there have been tons of film crews on campus the past few years. When did AnnArbor.com turn into Star magazine?
