John Latini and Jamie-Sue Seal are each well-established local musicians in their own right, but Saturday night at Canterbury House in Ann Arbor they'll team up for a concert as a duo.

Expect both original songs and cover tunes from a variety of eras and genres.

Concert promoter Michael Curths said in a prepared statement, "Jamie-Sue Seal and John Latini put together musical shows that go way beyond the aging hipster folk crap. Exceptional musicianship combined with enormous wit and engaging showmanship, they are the real deal."

Latini has been named Detroit Blues Champion twice in addition to other awards. He's well known locally as a solo performer and front man of the band Flying Latini Brothers. Seal is an established songwriter, singer, artist manager, concert promoter, and founder of Smokin' Sleddog Records, where both artists record.

John Latini and Jamie-Sue Seal play at the Canterbury House, 721 East Huron St., Ann Arbor on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 general admission and $5 for students and are available at 734-665-0606 or at The Canterbury House, or visit www.canterburyhouse.org.
