Radish Crostini with Fresh Dill

We're coming into the season for fresh radishes — hurrah! This month's Bon Appetit has great radish recipes I'm anxious to try. There's one recipe similar to the following that is a bit more time-consuming and calls for anchovy butter. Another yummy-sounding recipe from the Times takes it yet a step further by searing the radish slices.

I just used unsalted butter as I wanted to highlight a lovely sea salt I don't often use in my cupboard.

Highlight seasonal radishes by slicing and layering them on buttered baguette slices.

It's almost silly to pen a recipe with this easy treat that can be created within the span of minutes.

Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced
Unsalted butter, softened
6-8 large radishes, washed and thinly sliced
Sea salt
Fresh dill sprigs

Directions

Spread butter over baguette slices. Layer 2-3 pieces of radishes on each slice. Lightly sprinkle with salt and garnish with dill sprigs.
