Hour Detroit magazine has a rave review of Logan restaurant on West Washington Street in downtown Ann Arbor.

The review argues that since its 2006 opening, Logan has slowly improved into one of the best restaurants in the area. "It’s now one of only a handful of fine-dining restaurants in the broader metro Detroit region. The food is excellent; the wine list is original, smart, and solid. Yet, Logan has the look and informality of a casual restaurant," the piece reads in part.

Logan is awful, and ridiculously pretentious. Sad statement about this town that it gets well reviewed, because it's truly mediocre on the food, and worse on the service and atmosphere, blech.

The last time I ate there, the food and service were very good. However, it was moderately noisy. Their last Health Department inspection on 11/16/10 showed 6 Health Code violations, though none "critical."
