A graduating Greenhills School senior who was one of 30 contestants nationally for a spot on the next season of "America's Next Top Model" is out of the running.

Lauren Satterwhite of Ann Arbor was part of a Facebook contest this week, and while her mother, Lisa Jackson, reports she finished in the top 5 in public voting, the show's producers did not choose her to be among the contestants. Jackson said her daughter got valuable feedback on her modeling, but she may be too even-tempered for a reality TV show like "Top Model."

Created and hosted by Tyra Banks, the popular TV competition puts young women through a variety of tests to identify the one best suited for the high-profile, high-pressure world of fashion modeling.

The show has announced that the next season will be the show's first-ever "college edition," focusing on college students in a mock "sorority house."

Satterwhite, who was a soccer star at Greenhills, plans to attend New York University in the fall to study journalism.
