Actor/comedian David Cross to appear at the Michigan Theater

Emmy Award winner and Grammy nominee David Cross will perform at the Michigan Theater on Tuesday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m. — one stop on the comic's North American tour to promote his new book, "I Drink for a Reason." Tickets for the show go on sale on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Michigan Union Ticket Office, Ticketmaster, and Live Nation, and tickets cost $35.

In film, Cross most recently starred as Cain in "Year One," and he will soon reprise his role as Tobias in the film adaptation of the Emmy Award-winning Fox hit "Arrested Development." Other film credits include "Men in Black," "Waiting For Guffman," Ghost World," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "School for Scoundrels," "Curious George," "I'm Not There" and "Alvin & The Chipmunks."

Cross was also a writer for “The Ben Stiller Show,” which earned him a share of an Emmy Award, and he garnered more award nominations for the groundbreaking HBO show, "Mr. Show with Bob & David," and for a comedy album.
