Coherix, founded in 2004, creates software which can help manage the manufacturing process for the automotive industry and semiconductors. The company was founded in southeast Michigan due to the high level of automotive manufacturing activity in the area, but recently has been focusing more attention to Asia. According to Concentrate, about 70 percent of the company’s current customers are across the Pacific Ocean.

The startup is not done growing, looking to add another 10 software programmers and salespeople to help keep up with sales growth - which doubled last year. Chairman and CEO Dwight Carlson said the company is looking to hold an initial public offering in 2014.
