Miller Canfield women lawyers and staff donate hand-knitted Afghan to Ann Arbor Art Center

The women lawyers and staff in the Ann Arbor office of Miller Canfield recently donated a hand-knitted four-by-five-foot 100 percent wool sampler afghan to the Ann Arbor Art Center for its annual WineFest fundraiser.

The afghan was sold at the auction for $500. Collaborating on the afghan project was one of numerous projects undertaken for Miller Canfield’s 25th anniversary year in Ann Arbor; during the celebration, Miller Canfield lawyers and staff volunteered time and energy to 25 local nonprofit organizations.

Miller Canfield opened its Ann Arbor office in July 1984, and the firm has 350 lawyers throughout offices in Michigan, Illinois, Florida, New York, Ohio, Canada, Mexico, Poland and China.
