I expect that Michigan will lose to Notre Dame, Michigan State, Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin and Ohio State. As a result I calculate that Michigan will have a 6-6 record but only if it does not slip against any other teams on the schedule. Considering last year's record and the fact that no one has yet seen the capabilities of this year's squad, everyone is engaged entirely in wishful thinking. Do not misunderstand me: I AM a Michigan fan and will be delighted with an 8-4 record for the upcoming season. But three quarters of this year's team were involved in last year's losing season and the other quarter will be freshmen. Be realistic!

This is what we get with RR. Hoping to win 8 games after 3 seasons? Can you imagine anyone on Carr's team hoping to win 8 games? It wouldn't be tolerated. What's saddest of all is that he is probably right, we'll be lucky to get 8. I hope this is the last year we have to deal with this.

I think 8 games should be a given due to the schedule, which outside of OSU and Wisconsin is very manageable. Did I just imply that OSU isn't manageable? Sadly, I think I did.

I would think 8 wins would be on the very most of conserative side, might he be refering to the first 8 games maybe?
