$50 standing room tickets for Michigan-Alabama 'Cowboys Classic' go on sale Thursday
Still want to be on hand for the Michigan football team's 2012 season opener against defending national champion Alabama?
You may have to do so while standing.
At 8:30 a.m. Thursday, standing-room-only tickets for the 2012 "Cowboys Classic" in Arlington, Texas will go on sale on the Michigan ticket office website for $50 each.

Purchases are limited to four tickets per person for the Sept. 1 game (8 p.m., ABC) between the Wolverines and Crimson Tide at Cowboys Stadium.
Standing room areas inside the stadium are located in the east end zone "platforms," on the 200, 300 and 400 levels of the building.
In February, all 25,000 of Michigan's allotted tickets were sold to donors and season ticket holders before the public sale for the event actually began.
As of Wednesday afternoon, 2,022 tickets for the game were available on Stubhub.com.

Well, Tom, obviously Michigan will have their hands full because that Nick Saban is a great coach. He's won national titles at two of the three schools he's coached at. He would have won one at all three schools, but that third school sucked so bad that even he couldn't get it done there.

Of course, if you buy one of these, David Brandon will charge you about 485 per ticket for a seat license, will do a photo check to make sure that you got to the game 4 hours early, and will make you pay if you expect the band to entertain you. Not to mention the 8.00 bottles of water, the 3.00 bottles of beer (it is Texas), and the big screen in the middle of the ceiling...

For $45 you can stand in my living room (not in front of me, of course) and watch this game on a large television. Sweaty Texans will not be included in that price, but you may have luck on Craigslist.

I checked Craigslist and found two sweaty Texans i can afford. Are they included in the $45? Or do i need to pay extra for them?
