Michigan football coach Rich Rodriguez's first check to West Virginia is due Monday
West Virginia expects a wire transfer of $500,000 from Michigan football coach Rich Rodriguez by Monday as part of three annual payments due from when he left the university to coach the Wolverines, the Charleston Daily Mail reports.
Mike Parsons, West Virginia deputy director of athletics, said the money will go to a general fund. Rodriguez had a $4 million buyout clause in his contract at West Virginia. Michigan already made a $2.5 million payment. Rodriguez has until 2012 to pay his share.
West Virginia also receives payments from Michigan basketball coach John Beilein, who owes the third of his five buyout payments of $300,000 in April.

Lets see here... $4 mil buyout between UM and RR / 8 wins = $500,000 per win in buyout money...not including RR and staffs salaries, Barwis' mandatory equipment for body by Barwis, NCAA investigation costs etc. That $500K per win, jumps up much higher when you add those things in of course...and one of those 8 wins was vs. a FCS school. Nice. Any updates on whats going on with Rich Rods other $3mill lawsuit?

Gee, its time for a trade; Michigan gets 2.50M from WVU and WVU gets RR. Think about it!

Better pay them, Rich. WVU needs that money to pay off Latwan Anderson.
