Iowa will be tough as they have a front four who can match our offensive lien very nicely. I wonder if we are giving MSU too much credit? They are the best defense UM has faced this year but I don't believe we can give them too much credit for Denard's three picks (other than catching them) and over throws? By running up a big lead, they were able to dictate the UM Offense and in the second half and tee off on him. If UM can establish a passing game early (big if) there is a chance to win, in this way, the pass leads to the run and if Iowa is forced to defend the entire field we may be bale to beat them. I have said all along, they win 7 games in the regular season and win a bowl game to wind up with 8 wins. Having said that, every loss is a blow. Go Blue

I don't understand why complaining about the current coaching staff should be prohibited but swimming in the illusion of progression in our football team is welcomed. If neither can hurt or help the program why should it be a bother? What MSU did last Saturday was set a blue-print on how to beat Denard Robinson and there's no way around it, except if Denard becomes Tom Brady passes the ball effectively. Denard was uncomfortable passing the ball so frequent and equally disturbed by throwing so deep that often. Maybe Tate plays a little to throw off Iowa a bit but it's looking like another Big Ten loss.

Since AA is gutless and will allow Kubrick to attack me personally (see above) but will not allow me to respond in kind...I will repost my response to Kubrick below and I will keep posting it again and again and again until AA wises up and follows their own set guidelines rather than practicing selective discrimination. Kubrick...funny how you take a cheap little shot at me.. hey Im just calling it like it is: Our team stinks under Rich Rodriguez and they will get rolled vs. Iowa at home. Can't take it? Dont diss the messanger...diss the source: Rich Rod....or can you do that? no you cant.... If you are lucky you love Michigan as much as I do...unfortunately you dont have the knowledge to back it up so you just attack those that you disagree with. Peace and Go Blue Got a problem with it AA? Well take it up with Kubrick who not only attacks me constantly, but anyone who he disagrees with...also see above. Let this go or it will go on forever AA...follow your own guidelines.

Is it just my computer or is the sound on their last two previews completely out of synch with the video?

Lorain don't kid yourself Bo wouldn't have hired richyrich in the first place. The players have committed then left to start on other teams that have good coaches. You are right on one thing the team will rebound after the "coach" is replaced!

Over the past 5 plus seasons, Michigan is a.500 team in the Big Ten. They are fifth and could become sixth in the conference at the end of this season. It is entirely possible and even likely. Northwestern is one game behind, but could surpass Michigan making Michigan sixth at the end of this season. Add in Nebraska, and that puts Mich squarely at 7th out of 12 teams. It's just unbelievable.

D21... 6 or 7 wins is completely unacceptable and should lead directly to a coaching change As for bowls... a team should have to be over.500 to qualify. This 6-6 junk has to go.

Ever since RR became head coach of UM, I look at UM as a JUCO trying to compete with the heavyweights and midweights.

Kubrick, How many total wins this season Michigan should achieve to be worthy of a bowl bid, 6 or 7? I'd like for UM to set their standards higher than 6 or 7 (including a loss to OSU) or decline any bowl bid like ND did years ago. Ed Murrow provides an excellent point and I concur with him 100%.

azwolverine... I'm not necessarily a fan of RR. I'm a Michigan fan, so I root for them good or bad. I also realize that my complaining about the head coach isn't going to do, or change anything except ruin my game day experience. I learned a long time ago that it doesn't pay to worry or complain about things we have no control over - including sporting events. Impossible, I know... but at some point we all have to learn when to drop the frivolous complains. Beyond that... If RR can't get Michigan to 8 or 9 wins this season then they should no doubt show him the door.

kubrick, I certainly don't have the belief in RR that you do, however I agree with you completely that fans on both sides of the RR equation 'cherry pick' stats in order to bend any argument in their favor. I think at the end of the day, though, fans on both sides have to realize that we all want to see Michigan back on top in the Big Ten, in our rivalries, and as a player in the National Championship picture. We just disagree on how that will be accomplished. But again, good point on picking stats to suit our arguments. We all do it.

MSU slowed down the UM offense so now we're expected to believe that everyone will? Is Michigan not allowed to make their own adjustments? Is Denard not allowed to make some mistakes as a Sophomore? Why are Iowa's defensive stats thought of as more legitimate then Michigan's offensive stats? Iowa hasn't faced an offense with a real pulse, or a player with DR's potential big play ability... Except for Arizona and they beat IA in Iowa City. Now I can understand a certain amount of bias on both sides based upon recent events... But overall people simply choose a side, and then cherry pick stats in order to bend the argument into their favor. Me... I'm betting that Michigan makes offensive adjustments, that Denard is much more decisive with his reads, breaks a couple big runs... and as usual the D bends, breaks, mends itself for a couple series... bends again and surprisingly actually makes a play in the end. My bias opinion based mostly on a refocused DR and the close game in Iowa City last year... Michigan Wins.

Saginaw, cetainly Bo would not have been happy with the record so far, BUT, he would be solidly behind Rich, and his staff! (Just like Gary Moeller and Jerry Hanlon have been!) Both BO and Rich are intense' blue-collar guys, who knew clearly, what they wanted to accomplish, and demanded lots of commitment from their players. This Michigan team WILL rebound, because they are deep in character. Stay behind them, or find yourself, on the outside looking in.

These guys are picking back to back B10 losses at home to MSU and Iowa? Bo must be rolling over in pain.
