Michigan tight end Jon Bills to undergo surgery after car accident
A Michigan football player will undergo surgery later today after he was seriously injured in a car accident, family members and a university spokesperson said.
Tight end Jon Bills, who saw limited action last year as a walk-on, will undergo surgery today at University of Michigan hospital.
According to a statement released by the hospital through the university, “Jon is resting comfortably and preparing for surgery this afternoon.”
Bills, teammate Mark Moundros, a fullback-linebacker, and former Michigan football player Kirk Moundros were involved in a car accident Friday. Further details were not available.
The Moundroses are doing “fine,” their mother, Elaine, said.
Bills and the Moundroses are cousins.

I wish Jon a speedy recovery! As for Mark & brother Kirk, hopefully they've made it out ok.
