Michigan QB Denard Robinson racks up 4th national watch list appearance, this one for Manning Award
Michigan football quarterback Denard Robinson was named on Wednesday to his fourth preseason watch list, the most of any Wolverines player.
The senior is among 25 players included on the watch list for the Manning Award, which goes to the nation's best quarterback. He also has been tabbed for the Walter Camp Award (player of the year), Maxwell Award (most outstanding player) and Davey O'Brien Award (best quarterback).

Robinson joins Big Ten quarterbacks Taylor Martinez (Nebraska) and James Vandenberg (Iowa) on the Manning list.
No Michigan player has won the award, which was given last year to Baylor's Robert Griffin III.
Other Michigan players to appear on watch lists this summer:
- Fitz Toussaint (Doak Walker Award for best running back, Maxwell Award for most outstanding player)

- Jordan Kovacs (Bronko Nagurski Trophy for best defender)
- Taylor Lewan (Rotary Lombardi Award for best lineman/linebacker, Outland Trophy for best tackle/guard/center)

A great representative of our great institution. Kyle, how 'bout an over/under on how many awards he actually wins. I say he ends up winning at least one.

What an honor for the nations best QB, to win this award and be the first Michigan QB from Quarterback University. I'm glad the Bowl performance is listed, when DRob leads Michigan to the crystal football - they should hand him the trophy right there. What a great time to be a Michigan faithful folks, you got the obvious best QB running America's best team - I'm like a giddy kid again waiting to travel to J.R. Ewing Stadium and show America some old fashioned Bama-Beatdow. From there it's smooth sailing (yes there will be challenges) and foes will fall short and disappear like sparty in the rear view mirror. But the mouths keep mortaring along, silenter and silenter....... MgoBlueForTiM...CAUTION: Objects in this mirror are smaller than the appear...
