Michigan football center David Molk ranked the No. 12 player in Big Ten
By AnnArbor.com Staff
The Big Ten Blog at ESPN.com is rattling off what it thinks are the top 25 football players in the conference and Michigan is represented for the first time today.
Fifth-year senior center David Molk checks in at No. 12 on the list, which is being unveiled over a five-week period.
Molk, voted as a first-team All-Big Ten selection by coaches last season, has started 29 games over the past three years.
The Big Ten Blog says of Molk:
Molk will be asked to anchor a different type of attack this season under Brady Hoke, one in which (Denard) Robinson will be under center more often. It's hard to quantify a center's contributions through numbers and statistics, but it's hard to deny that Molk is one of the nation's best at the position.

Props to David Molk from being a bit undersized recruit...to filling out, and becoming one of the best centers in college football.
