It was announced shortly before kickoff of the Michigan football team's game against Minnesota that Denard Robinson would not start and panic ensued in the hearts of Wolverines fans.

Devin Gardner got the start and in the first three series looked very much like a player who'd been playing wide receiver for six months. The offense went three-and-out twice and Gardner threw an interception in between and Minnesota jumped out to a 7-0 lead.

But then something clicked. Gardner led the Wolverines to 21 straight points and never looked back. He finished finished 12-of-18 passing for 234 yards and two touchdowns and ran 10 times for 21 yards and a score as well and proved he might just be a quarterback after all in Michigan's 35-13 win.
