Former Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr will serve as grand marshal Sunday at NASCAR race
By AnnArbor.com Staff
Former Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr will be at Michigan International Speedway Sunday to serve as the grand marshal for the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 Sprint Cup race.
Beyond standing above the track and giving the "start your engines" command, Carr's appearance at MIS will allow him to promote Wolverines for Life, which encourages the donation of blood, organ and tissues.
The Sprint Cup race begins at 1 p.m. (TNT)

Let's all use this opportunity to congradulate LLoyd for a very honorable event and very compassionate cause that LLoyd is promoting. This is not a time to use this article as a platform to degrade other folks that may disagree with you. Thank you LLoyd Carr, the best to you and many more of these worthwhile causes.

Can't wait for the claims from the MCC'ers that MIS really wanted RichRod, but Carr talked them out of it...
