Ex-Michigan football player Je'Ron Stokes lands at Bowling Green
Je'Ron Stokes, a wide receiver who left the Michigan football program in August, has transferred to Bowling Green, the Toledo Blade reported today.
Stokes will sit out this season and have two years of eligibility left. Stokes played in 11 games for Michigan in 2010 with one catch for 11 yards. His brother, Malik Stokes, is a freshman quarterback for Bowling Green.
“I felt in my heart that I needed to make a change,” Stokes told the Toledo Blade. “It was tough, because I needed to get into school quickly, or I would be ineligible for two years. There were a lot of schools I could have gone to, but I knew (Bowling Green) Coach (Dave) Clawson was a good coach and a good guy, so I knew he would have my best interests at heart, so that made the decision easier."

Anyone know why he left Michigan? Did he state his reason(s) why?

He's a receiver, Michigan is fat at receiver.
