Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith jumps for joy at the conclusion of the Buckeyes' 25-21 win over Michigan at Michigan Stadium in 2005. Smith led OSU to a win in 2004, as well, the first in the Buckeyes' current seven-game winning streak.

The Ohio State football team extended its winning streak against Michigan to seven games on Saturday, continued success not seen in the storied rivalry since the Wolverines won nine in a row from 1901 to 1909.

Here's a quick look back at each of the Buckeyes' wins:

2004 Ohio State 37, Michigan 21: The Buckeyes scored 27 consecutive points to hand Michigan its only Big Ten loss of the season. Ohio State’s Troy Smith rushed for 145 yards and passed for 241.

2005 Ohio State 25, Michigan 21: Michigan led, 21-12, in the fourth quarter, but the Buckeyes rallied with a Troy Smith’s touchdown pass to Santonio Holmes and an Antonio Pittman touchdown run.

2006 Ohio State 42, Michigan 39: A classic matchup of No. 1 Ohio State against No. 2 Michigan. Ohio State piled up 24 first downs and 503 yards of total offense. Troy Smith passed for 316 yards and four touchdowns.

2007 Ohio State 14, Michigan 3: Chris "Beanie" Wells scored two touchdowns for Ohio State as Michigan was limited to eight first downs and 91 yards of total offense.

2008 Ohio State 42, Michigan 7: Dan Herron scored twice and Chris "Beanie” Wells rushed for 137 yards as Ohio State controlled the game.

2009 Ohio State 21, Michigan 10: Dan Herron ran for 103 yards and caught a 12-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to finish the Buckeyes’ scoring.

2010 Ohio State 37, Michigan 7: Dan Herron rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown and quarterback Terrelle Pryor passed for 221 yards and two touchdowns.

Total domination by a class program, OSU. The comparison of the two programs is not even close.

05 and 06 were the one's that got away. Carr's punt in the 05 game - 4th and 5 on the OSU 35 with a 12 point lead and a chance to bleed the clock. That call may have been the beginning of the end for him. Crable's "personal foul" on Troy Smith with the game on line in 06 - brutal.

2005 hurt a lot... that Gonzales catch late in the game was a killer

Come on no bowl, not much will change even after a new coach arrives.

The vest owns Michigan and as long as Rich Rod remains here nothing will change.
