It didn't take long for Mitch McGary to give the Michigan basketball program a boost.

Within an hour of his commitment, ESPN.com slotted coach John Beilein's class as the fifth-best group in the country for 2012.

McGary, a 6-foot-10, 250-pound power forward from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H., is ESPN's top-ranked power forward and No. 2 recruit overall.

ESPN rates Robinson III as the 10th-best small forward in the 2012 class, and the 52nd best prospect overall. Stauskas is ESPN's 83rd best prospect.

ESPN.com's top five classes currently are Arizona, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Texas and Michigan.

Indiana comes in at No. 6, followed by UCLA, Pittsburgh, Providence and Baylor.
