Should Robert 'Tractor' Traylor's records at Michigan be restored following his death?
By Pete Cunningham
Robert "Tractor" Traylor was found dead today at the age of 34.
The former Michigan player became as well known in Ann Arbor for his connection to a scandal involving U-M athletic booster Ed Martin, and his individual and team records while at Michigan have been, according to MGoBlue.com, vacated due to NCAA and U-M sanctions.
Following his death, should the asterisk next to his name be lifted?

I'll go with choice 5: "This is an inappropriate question to ask on the day the news broke of his death."

Who cares. Very few people have access to any student's records at the UM, or any college. This is a non-issue. What possible difference could it make.

Lift the asterisk when he gives an honest and full disclosure.

One of the more thoughtless polls ever! One has NOTHING to do with the other!

Huh? What does his death have to do with the fact that he violated the NCAA's rules about accepting pay while maintaining his amateur status? Really. You guys need to run these things by an editor before posting.

"Really. You guys need to run these things by an editor before posting." I think if it had been "run by" a 5th grader it would not have been posted. Run it by the dog or cat even!

This poll is non-sense, the suggested outcomes are a legal impossibility. The NCAA is the body that imposed these sanctions. When Jim Tressel dies should they take away the sanctions that may or may not be imposed on OSU by the NCAA? Should the University do something in recognition of Robert Traylor at one of next season's basketball games? Yes.
