Michigan point guard Trey Burke was named the Associated Press National Player of the Year on Thursday in Atlanta, where he and Wolverines will face Syracuse in the Final Four on Saturday. Here's a look at the iconic images from his award-winning sophomore season in Ann Arbor.

Burke is the first Michigan player since Cazzie Russell in 1966. Burke is also a finalist for the John R. Wooden national player of the year award, which will be announced on ESPN at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
