The Michigan women's basketball team wrapped up the No. 3 seed at the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday, but the Wolverines received little recognition on the All-Big Ten honors released Monday.

Senior guard Veronica Hicks, a third-team choice on the media's selections and part of the coaches' honorable mention list, is the only Wolverine mentioned.

Kalisha Keane from conference champion Michigan State was named the coaches' Player of the Year while Jantel Lavender of Ohio State was the media's Player of the Year. Spartans coach Suzy Merchant is the Coach of the Year on both lists.

Lavender is the first Big Ten basketball player -- men's or women's -- to earn a Player of the Year honor for four consecutive seasons.

Hicks, the Wolverines' only senior, averaged 11.5 points and 5.4 rebounds during the regular season. Michigan opens Big Ten Tournament play at 2 p.m. Friday at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
