Michigan recruit Madison Ristovski is state's Miss Basketball
Michigan women's basketball recruit Madison Ristovski won the state's Miss Basketball award today, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The 5-foot-10 guard is averaging 19.2 points and nine assists at Grosse Pointe University Liggett. She's the 31st recipient of the award, presented by the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan in conjunction with the Free Press.
Another Michigan recruit, Kelsey Mitchell of Inkster, finished third in the voting. Michigan State-bound Branndais Agee from Detroit Cass Tech was second.
Junior guard Jenny Ryan was the last Miss Basketball winner to play at Michigan. Freshman Nicole Elmblad was runner-up for the award last season.
Michigan's 2012 recruiting class also includes Symone Denham of Columbus, Ohio, and Rebecca Lyttle of Hollywood, Fla.
