Michigan basketball fans can catch a glimpse of the newly renovated Crisler Arena on Friday when the university hosts a free three-hour open house.

The open house, which runs from 5-8 p.m. and is open to the public, will allow fans to see the arena's new high-definition scoreboard and the new seats.

In addition, fans can see which seats remain available for 2011-12 season-ticket purchase while getting the opportunity to buy them on-site.

Also, all fans that RSVP to crisleropenhouse@umich.edu by 5 p.m. Thursday will be registered to win a pair of courtside seats to a Michigan men's game.

The Michigan men's and women's squads will host separate autograph sessions. The women will sign from 5-5:45 p.m., while the men will be available from 6-7 p.m.

Fans can enter the event through the Crisler Arena tunnel, or through Gates A and E. Parking will be available in the Blue Lot.

The House that Cazzie Built, Johnny Orr and Bill Frieder filled every cotton picken night and Steve Fisher emptied.

It was the NCAA sanctions that crippled the program and those happened on Fishers watch. The buck stops with the head coach.

Not sure where you were watching games from but Fishers attendance by far out numbered Orr and Frieder. Not condoning what happened but Fisher is not the only one to blame. Goss, Elerbe, Ed Martin and Amaker had just as much to do with the drop off.
