Michigan basketball's Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. to participate in the LeBron James Skills Academy

By Nick Baumgardner

Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. aren't quite finished with their elite camp tour this summer.

The Michigan basketball standouts are scheduled to participate in this weekend's Nike sponsored "LeBron James Skills Academy" in Las Vegas.

Michigan basketball's official Twitter and Facebook pages confirmed the news, as the official rosters for the event -- which runs from July 6-9 -- have not been formally released.

This will mark the third NBA-player led summer camp stop for Burke, who also participated in both the Chris Paul-led camp and Deron Williams-run event last month.

Hardaway, meanwhile, spent time at the Kevin Durant Skills Academy last month -- a Chicago-based event for some of the nation's top wing players.

The LeBron James camp typically features players from all spots on the floor and generally includes most the country's top performers -- regardless of position.

Last year's event featured the eventual No. 1 and No. 2 picks in the 2012 NBA draft in Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Also participating last season was Minnesota's Trevor Mbakwe, Connecticut's Shabazz Napier, Duke's Mason and Miles Plumlee, Kansas' Thomas Robinson and Ohio State's Jared Sullinger.

Do the players pay for the Elite camps? Normal high school camps cost anywhere from $300 to $800 per camper. Wonder how much these camps cost. Also, is this a recruiting tool for the sponsors?

I'm really excited to see the improvement of Hardaway and Burke, they should be one hell of a combo this coming season. I think Hardaway simply had a 'sophomore slump' and should hopefully be more focused and play better.
