Michigan basketball dubs Sunday game a 'Maize Out,' PDC dedication planned
The Michigan basketball program is in the midst of a celebratory weekend.
And it wants full participation from its home crowd.
Michigan is asking for a "Maize Out" for Sunday's home game against No. 18 Wisconsin (1:30 p.m., CBS), a contest that will also feature a special dedication ceremony for the newly completed Player Development Center.
The same is true for the women's basketball team's game against Ohio State on Saturday (5 p.m., BTN).

Michigan's men's and women's basketball teams have now moved into the new $23.2 million Player Development Center, a practice facility hosting coaching offices, locker rooms, training equipment and practice courts.
In addition to the area-wide 'Maize Out' at Crisler Center, the Michigan student section has special plans for Sunday as well.
The Maize Rage announced on its Twitter account Friday that Sunday's game will feature a student-section "Jort Out." The students are asking fellow classmates to come wearing self-made jean shorts -- with pockets showing.
Limited tickets for the game were still available as of Saturday morning.

If you can't have fun at a Michigan basketball game when you are a student there, what's the point? Sounds like some would like to see suits and ties and wingtips. Then we can sit and read the paper like some of the bigshots do rather than watching the game. I suppose the kids should sit down and shut up and just watch quietly, then walk out silently after the game. Whatever.

Homemade jean shorts? These are the leaders and best. My confidence in tomorrow is wavering.
