Landing the likes of Mitch McGary, Glenn Robinson III and Zak Irvin has only helped the Wolverines' standing in the Hoosier state.
However, more recently, Beilein's group is starting to migrate slightly east, smack dab into enemy territory.
That, of course, being Ohio.
Beilein and the Wolverines reportedly handed out their fourth offer for the 2014 class recently, extending an arm to four-star forward Jae-Sean Tate -- a Pickerington, Ohio native who plays AAU basketball for Trey Burke's father, Benji Burke, on the All-Ohio Red squad.
Tate checks in at No. 63 overall on Rivals.com's Top 100 for 2014.
"Coach Beilein is a great guy and everything he said to me I believed in 100 percent," Tate told UMHoops.com recently. "I like that he plays ten players and he plays the best players. At some colleges, maybe you wait your turn or you have to do a certain thing. I liked that he showed me, if I were to come there, what he’d have me doing and where I would be playing.
"I really liked that. It was something I really liked because he’s going to play me to my strengths and help me get to a 2-3 and a 4."
Tate joins four-star guard Devin Booker, four-star forward Keita Bates-Diop and four-star wing Trevon Blueitt as the four players in the 2014 class to earn an offer from Beilein.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder -- who also reportedly has offers from Ohio State, Purdue, Xavier, Iowa and Dayton -- played on the same high school team as 2012 Michigan signee Caris LeVert.

A little late on the draw don't you think? Tate was offered in Ann Arbor in Friday. Here's to hoping he follows Taco Charlton to Michigan. We could certainly benefit from a multi-sport pipeline from Pickerington Central.
